About These Changes
To enhance our ability to deliver more content to our players, we have adjusted our localization resources. This change allows us to better support the increasing volume of new content while maintaining high-quality translations for our most-used languages.

Current Language Support Status
French and German language support changes:
French and German language options will be removed from in-game settings and official Lost Ark channels (website updates, patch notes, etc) by the May monthly update
All game content will display in English by default
Impact on Players
By the May monthly update, for players using French or German language settings:
Your game client will default to English
Content will only be available in currently supported languages

A: Yes, Lost Ark remains available in English and Spanish.

A: Existing French and German character names stay the same.

A: While French and German localized content will eventually be phased out, we will continue to offer customer support for French and German speakers. Our support team will use AI-assisted translations to help players in these languages, ensuring ongoing assistance.
