New Class: Valkyrie

"The light I shine upon the battlefield shall never fade."

The Valkyrie Advanced Class can be played as either a support-type class that heals allies and leads the battlefield with the power of light, or a damage dealing DPS class summoning holy swords to turn the tide of battle. She protects her team with sacred auras and buffs, or takes the front line using her one-handed sword with skills of Holy Radiance and Justice.

Valkyrie can fill her Piety Meter during combat and unleash light energy. When she uses a Light Unleashing skill, nearby party members receive enhanced combat abilities. Additionally, she gains Conviction of Liberation, which allows her to use Light of Conviction skills to heal nearby allies.

Players ready to master Valkyrie can take on a Class Awakening Quest. There are also 10 new achievements, a new title, a new trophy, and a Training Room Guide.

Trust Point System

111 KB
50 KB
The Trust Point system allows players to earn “trust” through gold-consuming growth activities, and the amount of trust held affects transaction fees and whether trades with other players are allowed.

Trust decreases when trading gold via mail or personal trades with other expedition teams. If users' trust is insufficient, users may be restricted from trading gold with other expeditions via mail or personal trades. The goal of this system is to combat RMT, while ensuring that average player behavior is not heavily impacted.

  • Trust is applied on an account-wide basis.

  • Trust deduction details:

    • The original 5% fee is applied as same as before regardless of the trust system.

    • Mail

      • Gold-attached mail

        • Trust decreases based on the amount of gold sent. If Trust is insufficient, an additional fee equal to 25% of the missing Trust will be charged.

          • Example: With 1,000 Trust, when sending 5,000 gold, 4,000 gold without Trust will have an additional 1,000 gold fee (25% of 4,000).

            • If you don’t have enough gold to pay this fee, you cannot send the mail.

            • If gold-attached mail is returned or retrieved, the previously deducted Trust is restored.

      • Payment request

        • Trust decreases based on the amount of gold requested.

        • If you don’t have enough gold to pay this fee, you cannot retrieve the attached item or send payment.

      • Personal Gold Transfer

        • Trust decreases based on the amount of gold sent to others.

        • If you don’t have enough gold to pay this fee, you cannot proceed with the personal transfer.

  • Trust will be shown in mail and trade windows, and notifications for increase/decrease will appear in the system message.

  • Trust increases when you consume normal or bound gold via the following:

    • Gear honing (normal/advanced), quality upgrade, content bonus rewards

    • Accessory refinement

    • Karma unlock, level/rank growth

    • Legion Raid/Kazeros gear crafting, proving ground seal crafting

    • Elixir crafting/refining/transmuting

    • Transcendence unlock/purify/restore

    • Stronghold research, knowledge transfer, banquet crafting, farm (bound), pet training

    • 1 normal gold used → +1 trust

    • 1 Roster bound gold used → +0.1 trust

    • 1 character bound gold used → +0.1 trust

  • Initial trust values have been granted retroactively based on:

    • Highest item level among your characters

    • Karma rank/level among your characters

Changes to Market/Auction due to Trust Point System

  • Market/Auction

    • When listing certain items in the Market and Auction House, an upper price limit for market/auction is now applied to prevent excessive overpricing beyond standard trade ranges.

    • If the listed price exceeds the upper limit, it will be automatically adjusted at the input stage.

      • Once an item is bid at the upper price limit, no further bids can be placed.

    • The price cap may vary even for the same item, depending on its sub-options and trading value, and it is flexibly adjusted to avoid interfering with normal trades.

      • Since the price cap is based on abnormal trading behavior, it is only visible at the input stage and not recommended as a reference for actual trading.

      • Due to the implementation of this system, any listings exceeding the limit at the time of maintenance have been canceled. Canceled items and listing fees have been refunded via in-game mail.

    • Items subject to this price cap also have a daily listing limit per Roster

      • This only applies to items with an upper price limit.

      • The number of remaining listings can be checked in the registration UI.

      • Listing counts are consumed at the time of registration and are not refunded even if the item expires or is canceled.

      • Maximum listings per day:

        • Market: 100 items

        • Auction: 50 items

        • Listing limits reset at the same time with the daily content reset

  • Content Loot Auctions

    • The upper price limit system has also been applied to content loot auctions.

    • Items that appear via loot auction now have a price cap set at 1000% of the average winning bid over the past 7 days.

      • Example: If an item had a 7-day average bid of 100 gold, the cap is set to 1000 gold.

      • You cannot place a bid above the cap.

      • If another player has already placed a bid at the cap, no further bids are allowed.

      • For unsold items, the cap is based on 50 gold as the reference.

    • Honor rewards from endgame content are excluded from the price cap.

      • Honor rewards” refer to special items awarded from endgame content.

      • Example: The MVP background “Dreamlike Apeiron” from Kazeros Raid Act 2.

    • Change in fee application on loot auctions:

      • Before: Fees applied only to winning bids over 100,000 gold

      • Now: Fees apply to the entire winning bid amount

    • The following guaranteed loot drops from Tier 3 endgame content have been removed:

      • Abyss Dungeons: Kayangel, Ivory Tower of Chaos

      • Legion Raids (Normal/Hard): Valtan - Thaemine

        • Mounts from Thaemine Phase 3 and 4 (Hard) may still appear in loot auctions at a set probability.

      • Kazeros Raid Act 1 (Normal)

      • Due to these removals, the weekly purchase limit for certain exchangeable items in the Single Mode Exchange Shop has been increased:

        • Brilliant Wisdom Elixir: from 3 to 5 per week

        • Flame of Darkness: from 20 to 30 per week

  • Mail System

    • The mail system now supports cross-server gold transfers.

    • When composing a message, you can check the “Other Server Gold” option to send gold to characters on different servers.

    • You cannot use this menu to send gold to characters on the same server.

    • Gold must be entered to send the mail.

    • Items other than gold cannot be attached.

    • Sending “Other Server Gold” mail uses the same trust point system as regular gold mail.

    • Trust is reduced based on the amount of gold sent.

    • If trust is insufficient, an additional fee equal to 25% of the lacking trust will be charged.

    • If there isn’t enough gold to cover the additional fee, the mail cannot be sent.

Changes to Ebony Cube

111 KB
50 KB
There are changes to Ebony Cube and how it interacts with Paradise.

This change will double the gems provided by Ebony Cube, but reduce the Cube Ticket drop rate by 50% (in all places, including the guild shop and dispatches). We think this change will make Ebony Cube more exciting to play, and will also help decrease the amount of homework content with the addition of Paradise. Ebony Cube tickets in players’ inventory will be exchanged at 2:1 ratio to reflect the upcoming changes:

  • Players with Cube tickets in their inventories will have the tickets automatically converted during the maintenance. Odd numbers of tickets will be rounded up.

  • T4 Tickets in the Cube Selection Chest (across the roster in various storages) will be converted into a “Fragment”. At an exchange vendor, 2 Fragments can be exchanged for an Ebony Cube Ticket at the original level of the fragment. There will be 1st Unlock fragment, 2nd unlock fragment and 3rd unlock fragment. Excess or remaining fragments can be exchanged for Silver.

  • Please note that the cube changes only apply to Tier 4.

While it was previously announced that Ebony Cube would include doubled rewards, we had an unfortunate misunderstanding regarding the specifics of “doubled” rewards, which applies to the game rewards. We still are excited about the change, cutting down the amount of homework while increasing the player agency by letting everyone decide the path for their tickets— exchanging them for Hell Keys, which include a vast variety of valuable rewards, or choosing to go for the increased amount of gems provided by Ebony Cube. We know that this miscommunication put a dent in the otherwise huge amount of excitement for this update, so we’re going to give out a compensation for all players regardless of how many cube tickets they have stocked up:

  • 1,580 Rare Hell Key Chest x1

  • 1,640 Rare Hell Key Chest x1

  • 1,680 Rare Hell Key Chest x1

  • (NEW) Ebony Cube Selection Chest x1

There will be a few other gifts and bonuses arriving with this update, so make sure to log-in and claim it all!

Prestige Shop

We’re adding the Prestige Shop, which provides bonus items from in-game purchases. It will include a variety of Prestige items available, including special skins, MVP Background, and smaller items that are useful in your journeys throughout Arkesia. Checkout the full list in-game after the update releases.

The Prestige Shop will provide 10% of Royal Crystals spent in-game as “Prestige Points”, which can be exchanged for a variety of rewards in the Prestige Shop. It’s important to note that Prestige Points are not awarded for Steam DLC or MTX items, or for items purchased with Crystals. This will also retroactively apply to past Royal Crystal expenditures.

Players in merged regions will have all their points from after the merge available immediately upon the launch of the shop, but there will be a slight delay for receiving some points from before the merge for players that originally played in a region that was merged into another one. No worries, they’re not missing and will arrive as soon as possible!

Mount Summon Motion

  • Added a new Mount Summon Menu

Paradise

  • Players can now access the Paradise exchange through the Paradise UI.

  • Paradise will have its own guide.

  • Added warning text to Paradise items that shows they will be deleted after Season 1.

  • Added warning text on the Orb items that explains how their special effect values vary based on the highest Paradise Power achieved in a Season.

  • The skill effect of Sacred Spear Release and Wave of Providence Orb have been reduced.

Hyper Awakening in Tier 3

Players will be able to learn Hyper Awakening and Hyper Awakening skills in T3 once they reach Item Level 1540 and Character Level 55. The Hyper Awakening skill power learned in T3 has been adjusted for T3 content. This change is intended to improve T3 player experience and add more fairness to Crucible ranking in Paradise. T3 players will be able to use latest skill mechanism and challenge crucible ranking for more Hell Keys.
