HEROES OF ARKESIA,

The summer heat brings new challenges. The Kazeros Raid Act 1 Extreme will push your raid party to the limit across three escalating difficulty tiers. Solo Mode expands to Kazeros Raid Act 4 and the Final Act, and a new Matchmaking Mode lets you tackle Serca at a reduced difficulty with dynamic party scaling. Paradise Season 4 begins, the Summer Night Festival kicks off on Arkesia’s shores, and a collection of summer cosmetics arrives in the store.

Downtime will begin on July 15 at 12 AM PT (7 AM UTC) and is expected to last 6 hours. Read on for the full list of new content, events, store offerings, and other changes below.

KAZEROS RAID: ACT 1 EXTREME

The Kazeros Raid: Act 1 Extreme consists of three difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, and Nightmare. Enter by clicking the "Extreme" button within the entry UI for Kazeros Raid "Act 1: Earth-Shattering Hellfire."

  • Requirement: Complete the Main Quest "The Way Forward."

  • Normal: 8 Players / Item Level 1720 or higher

  • Hard: 8 Players / Item Level 1750 or higher

  • Nightmare: 8 Players / Item Level 1770 or higher

  • Weekly limit of 1 entry per Roster. Normal, Hard, and Nightmare share the weekly entry count.

  • In Normal and Hard difficulties, the Individual Revival system is active (each character can revive once per attempt).

  • In Nightmare difficulty, the Individual Revival system is not available.

REWARDS

Rewards are granted upon defeating "Aegir, the Oppressor" in Kazeros Raid: Act 1 Extreme.

  • Normal: 20,000 Gold + Coin of Fire and Ice × 150

  • Hard: 45,000 Gold + Coin of Fire and Ice × 200

  • Nightmare: 45,000 Gold + Coin of Fire and Ice × 200

  • First Clear Reward given once per Roster upon defeating Aegir for the first time, regardless of difficulty.

  • Clearing Nightmare for the first time grants the Legendary Title: "Lord of Hellfire."

  • Full gold reward granted regardless of weekly gold-earning slot status.

CRAFTING NPC — NUNET

A new Kazeros Extreme Crafting NPC, "Nunet", has been added to major cities. Uses "Coin of Fire and Ice" to craft various items.

  • Some items have a crafting limit per Roster.

  • In Elgacia (Ereonnor), crafting is available via the "Mirror of Eternity."

  • Engraving recipes obtained from the "Relic Combat Engraving Recipe Selection Pouch" cannot be registered or traded on the Marketplace.

SOLO MODE

Two new Solo Mode options have been added for End Content:

  • Kazeros Raid "Act 4: Fortress of Destruction" (Item Level 1700 or higher)

  • Kazeros Raid "Denouement: The Final Day" (Item Level 1710 or higher)

KEY RULES

  • 50% of gold acquired upon clearing each Gate in Solo Mode is distributed as Character-Bound Gold.

  • Entry Item Level for Solo Mode is identical to Normal difficulty.

  • Solo Mode is classified as End Content and shares the Gold reward limit and free Bonus Reward count.

  • Contents offering Solo Mode share the entry count and Gate progress across Normal/Hard/Solo difficulties.

  • Once you clear the first Gate in Solo Mode, this difficulty is locked in for subsequent Gates.

  • If disconnected or you leave and fail to re-enter within the time limit, an entry count restoration ticket will be sent via Mail (valid until next maintenance).

SERCA MATCHMAKING MODE

A new Matchmaking Mode has been added for the Shadow Raid "Serca, the Witch of Agony." This mode allows you to enjoy Shadow Raids at a reduced difficulty, either solo or with other adventurers.

  • Entry requirement: Item Level 1710 or higher (identical to Normal difficulty).

  • Access via Game Menu (ESC) > "Adventure" category, or the "Matchmaking Mode" button in the Shadow Raid entry UI.

  • The existing "Solo Mode" menu has been renamed to "Solo/Matchmaking Mode."

ENTRY OPTIONS

  • Enter solo.

  • Matchmaking as a solo player or in a pre-made party of 2 to 3 players.

  • Enter after forming a pre-made party via Find Party.

  • Matchmaking is disabled for pre-made 4-player parties.

  • Combat balance is dynamically adjusted based on the number of players.

REVIVAL AND FAILURE

  • The raid does not fail (wipe) even if all party members die.

  • Unlimited resurrections (Phoenix Plume, or 10 Crystals if none available).

  • If you do not resurrect within the wait time, you will be removed and your entry count consumed.

  • If you quit or leave the raid while playing solo, an entry count restoration ticket is provided (valid until next maintenance).

MATCHMAKING RULES

  • Shares entry count and Gate progress across Normal/Hard/Nightmare and Matchmaking Mode.

  • Once you clear the first Gate in Matchmaking Mode, difficulty is locked for subsequent Gates.

  • If you leave the dungeon, your entry count is deducted even if you haven't claimed rewards.

  • Stopping via vote before claiming rewards restores entry count for players still inside.

  • Boss recovers HP when it goes berserk.

AFK PROTECTION

  • A warning is issued if you do not participate in combat after battle begins.

  • Continued non-participation results in removal from the raid (entry count consumed, no restoration ticket).

  • Watching cutscenes or waiting to resurrect is not considered non-participation.

REWARDS AND BUFFS

  • Rewards identical to Normal difficulty. Bonus Rewards available.

  • No Loot Auction. "Sidereal's Energy" does not drop.

  • Combat Support buff applied if no Support class in the party.

  • If a Support class plays solo, a more powerful "Damage to Foes Increased" effect is applied.

Stacking attack power buff over time in 4-player parties:

  • Inner Spark: Attack Power +50%

  • Inner Flame: Attack Power +100%

  • Inner Hellfire: Attack Power +200%

PARADISE SEASON 4

A new season of Paradise begins with fresh challenges, new ranking rewards, and changes to the Hell Dungeon that add risk-reward mechanics to your descent.

Season Period: July 15, 2026 – February 3, 2027

  • Season 1 Orbs will be removed from inventory.

  • New ranking exclusive rewards: Insignia, Title, Adventurer Banner.

HELL DUNGEON CHANGES

  • New "falling point" appears every 10 floors.

  • Falling points have success/failure: Success descends same as a great jump, failure goes back some stages.

  • Lucky reward added: 3 same-distance drops in a row triggers a lucky reward.

  • Furthest reached record now shows current season's record only.

  • New items added to the Paradise Exchange Shop (exchangeable with Paradise Essence).

MOKOKO BUFF ENHANCEMENT

The effects of the Mokoko Buff have been enhanced:

  • Stand Up (Get Up) skill cooldown reduced by 50%.

  • "Unbreakable Mind" cooldown reduced from 8 minutes to 1 minute.

  • Procyon's Protection has been removed (merged into Mokoko Buff).

  • Benefit range expanded up to maximum Roster Item Level of 1720.

  • Benefit duration reset to 90 days starting from the July 15 update.

  • Eligibility: Rosters with a maximum achieved Item Level below 1720 as of July 15.

CONTENT UNLOCKING CHANGES

  • Shadow Raid "Serca, the Witch of Agony": Guide Quest removed. Enter immediately at Item Level 1710.

  • "Horizon Cathedral": Main Quest requirement removed. Enter at Item Level 1700+.

  • Content Guide: Main Quest requirement removed. Unlocks at Item Level 1700+.

  • Kazeros Raid Denouement: Final Day: No longer requires clearing Act 4. Enter after completing Adventure Quest "Path of Destiny" at the required Item Level.

GROWTH SUPPORT SHOP

  • The "Solo Mode" tab has been renamed to "Growth Support."

  • 6 new items added, including Agony Thorn and Graced Shard.

  • Purchase limits apply (some reset weekly).

  • "Bracelet Bonus Rework Ticket" added to Gold Shop (up to 10 per character weekly).

CARD ELEMENTAL DECK AUTO-EQUIP

  • Automatically applies a card preset matching the elemental weakness of content upon entry.

  • Configure presets for each weakness (Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, Holy, Dark) via Card Catalog.

  • For End Content, decks switch dynamically per Gate.

  • Support classes can set both support and DPS card presets.

ASTROGEM AUTO-EQUIP

  • Automatically equips Astrogems for the highest estimated Combat Power based on equipped Cores.

  • Requires at least one Core equipped. Core Auto-Equip is not supported.

  • Priority: highest Order/Chaos points > class role > lower Willpower.

ASTROGEM DISMANTLING

  • Bulk dismantle unequipped, processed Legendary-grade Astrogems by filter.

  • Filters: Required Willpower, Order/Chaos Points, Detailed Options.

  • Equipped or locked Astrogems are not dismantled.

RECOMMENDED SETTINGS

  • Renamed from "Recommended Skills" to "Recommended Settings."

  • Now includes Ark Grid information, applicable directly to your character.

  • At least one "Sun of Order" Core included in recommendations.

  • Ark Grid filter added for Guardian Raids, Legion Raids, Epic Raids.

  • Dedicated hotkey added (customizable in Settings).

T4 CONTENT REWARD CHANGES

Card Pack rewards from the following have been changed to new items:

  • Tier 4 Chaos Gates

  • North Kurzan Field Boss Sevek Atun

  • Card Packs provided as Tier 4 End Content Bonus Rewards

  • Fate's Ember appearing in Tier 4 content

BATTLE SUPPORT BUFF

  • "Damage to Foes +10.0%" added to Battle Support buff in Guardian Raids when no Support class is present.

KAZEROS RAID DENOUEMENT NERF

Progression improvements for Kazeros Raid Denouement: Final Day:

Gates 1 & 2 (Hard Difficulty):

  • Decreased Kazeros's HP and Attack Power.

  • Eased the difficulty of certain patterns; removed others entirely.

Gate 1 (Normal & Hard):

  • Characters' Penalty Meters no longer increase during specific battle phases.

  • Kazeros no longer gains a Shield buff when specific mechanics are failed.

Gate 2 (Hard Difficulty):

  • Kazeros now destroys outer walls in a fixed, predictable order.

  • "Demon Fire" debuff no longer applied to characters.

  • Reduced duration of "Telekinesis" debuff during the black hole mechanic.

  • During the wire-evasion mechanic, Kazeros triggers the psychokinesis attack slightly later.
