Heroes of Arkesia,
The March Ends of the Abyss update arrived yesterday, bringing a host of quality of life and balance updates, a major story chapter, new progression events, and much more. While the maintenance took longer than expected (don’t fear, a compensation will be sent to all players in the near future), our team has had a blast watching players experience the new story, try out new character builds, and use the progression event to get characters ready to face Kazeros— and the next threat on the horizon— Serca.
As we head toward the April update that contains the next 4-player endgame content, we wanted to provide a quick update and be transparent with you, especially given the new season of Paradise has just begun. When Serca releases, there will be new 1730 Hell Keys that contain the next level of Tier 4 honing materials. We wanted you to have advance notice, as we know this impacts the experience or may prevent players from running existing keys in the meantime. Keys earned before the update won’t provide Serca honing materials.
Additionally— a reminder if you missed the posts yesterday, you shattered the survey community goal target of 3,500 responses, as we received over 11,000 unique survey responses. This was our best turnout ever for a survey, and provided an enormous amount of helpful data and anecdotes as we continue our work to improve the experience in Arkesia. Use code WCOMMUNITY on the website for the community gift, live for one week until March 18.
Finally, we’re monitoring a few known issues with this update and preparing fixes, including the Paradise exchange attempting to use Season 2 materials, and the COG Mount Selection chest not currently being able to be opened.
