The corruption that began in the depths has crossed over the Kurzan Abyss, tainting the seas. The long-lost body of Kazeros has begun to take form within the fog. What will befall Arkesia in the future?

This update introduces the Kazeros Raid Prelude: Destined Trajectory, October Ark Pass, Lucky Box event, Korean balance patch that arrived alongside Kazeros, Proving Grounds competitive match season 7, and more. Downtime will begin on October 29 at 1 a.m. PT (8 a.m. UTC) and is expected to last 6 hours. Read on for the full list of new content, events, store offerings, and other changes.

Kazeros Raid Prelude

Embark on a prologue questline that leads to truth as the long-prophesied war nears its end.

A new NPC, Journey’s Trace, will be added to Elnead where you can start this quest. It can be completed once per roster, but only after finishing the Act 1 through 3 prologue quests as well as the Rimeria World Quest and Hyper Awakening Quests. The Kazeros Raid Prelude: Destined Trajectory will prepare you for the narrative climax against the Lord of the Abyss and is a requirement to enter the Act 4 Kazeros Raid. Two new achievements will also be available. Kazeros Raid Prelude prerequisites include:

  • Kazeros Raid Act 1 Prologue Quest - Where the Volcanic Ash has Settled. Players must have Item Level 1660+ and clear it with the required characters to progress the quest.

  • Kazeros Raid Act 2 Prologue Quest - Paving the Way to Victory

  • Kazeros Raid Act 3 Prologue Quest - As One Again

  • Rimeria World Quest - Connected Duty

  • Hyper Awakening achievements - The Divine Will Lives On

Mist Knight Ark Pass

Complete missions to progress through 30 Ark Pass levels for new rewards.

The regular Ark Pass is free and grants a variety of helpful rewards, such as Pheons, honing material selection chests, and card packs! Ark Pass progress is earned across your entire roster, while the rewards are roster bound.

Those interested in more rewards and cosmetics can exchange Royal Crystals for two premium reward tracks (Premium and Super Premium), which each layer in additional rewards to the leveling track. The Premium Ark Pass adds rewards at all 30 levels earned alongside the free rewards. Examples include more honing material selection chests, battle items, and more! On top of the Regular and Premium rewards, the Super Premium Ark Pass weaves the Mist Knight skins, Fluffy cat mount and pet, and a Legendary Card Pack through the Ark Pass.   • Removed the following quest from the prerequisites of the North Kurzan World Quest: Tension in Elnead:

    • Kazeros Raid "Overture: Spiral of the Crimson Midnight Sun" and Prelude Quest "Crimson Floral Scent of Temptation"

    • Epic Raid Behemoth "Behemoth, the Storm Commander" and Prelude Quest "Gathering Storm Clouds"

      • Upon completing the quest Tension in Elnead, the two quests above will now also be marked as completed.

  • When using Knowledge Transfer for Elgacia, the Shushire World Quest will now be marked as completed.

  • After progressing the Episode 'Trajectory of Destiny' beyond a certain point, Awakening Skills and Hyper Awakening Skills can no longer be used in the altered Trixion.

  • Improved the Skin Chest tooltip and content preview window to display which skins you already own.

  • Added grade indicators to Engraving Recipe names to make it easier to identify their grade.

Gem Quality of Life Improvements

  • The selected gem's level is now displayed at the top of the Brilliant Gem Refaceting window..

  • Added a Sort by Equipped Gems First function to the Brilliant Gem Refaceting window.

Graphics/Sound

  • Improved Valkyrie hit sound effects.

  • Adjusted Valkyrie skills so that voice lines play more frequently when used.

Combat Analyzer

  • Changed so that when the Combat Analyzer begins data measurement, combat data affected by buffs applied to the character and monsters prior to measurement will also be recorded.

  • Adjusted so that Clash minigame progress is no longer displayed in the Skill Use Order on the timeline.

  • Combat Analyzer Compact Mode will no longer be displayed during cutscenes while content is in progress.

  • Added an option to toggle the display of the Combat Analyzer Compact Mode.

  • Adjusted tooltip display position on the timeline so that tooltips are not obscured by the mouse cursor.

System

  • Honor can no longer be granted to characters who have set their status to Offline.
