We have a couple of updates to share as we head into September, including a change to our server merge timing and a note on recent Paradise activity.
SERVER MERGE UPDATE
We wanted to give you advance notice that while we had planned to do our second merge this week on September 2nd, we are instead going to be moving the merge to September 9. Given the recent 35+ hour downtime, we wanted to put a bit of time in between this and the next merge as well as give ourselves time to make adjustments to reduce the downtime on the second merge. We know many of you have been planning around the original timing, so we wanted to be upfront about the new date as soon as we could. Full details on the maintenance window and downtime will be shared next week ahead of the merge, so you can plan accordingly.
PARADISE / ELYSIAN UPDATE
We recently identified and are investigating an issue in Paradise involving Elysian challenge attempt tickets being granted back to accounts in a way they were not intended to be. We temporarily closed access while we looked into it.
That content is now reopening. As part of resolving this, the system will not be restoring or re-granting these tickets. We know this affects some of you directly, and we want to be transparent about why: keeping progression fair for everyone is the priority here, and re-granting the tickets would carry the original issue forward. We will be reviewing accounts that took advantage of this and will take action against them.
