Heroes of Arkesia,

A new threat looms over Rimeria.

Downtime will begin on September 17 at 1 a.m. PT (8 a.m. UTC) and is expected to last 8 hours.

This update introduces Assault: Rimeria, the Combat Analyzer, the Honor System, and more. Read on for the full list of new content, events, store offerings, and other changes.

Assault: Rimeria

Abyssal beasts have emerged in Shae, threatening to engulf Rimeria in darkness and transform the city's atmosphere into something much more ruinous.

During this 9-week event, you can combat the threat by taking part in the 1-4 player dungeon "Assault: Crimson Abyss, Narhash" and the 8-player endgame raid "Assault: Flame of Destruction, Tarkal." Both are available in Normal and Hard difficulties. Players can access the content through Shae or the Kazeros War Board after completing prerequisite quests. These raids will provide event currency that can be exchanged for special rewards. Players who defeat Tarkal will also be able to earn a Dawn Defender's Chest, which will grant even more rewards including a Random Relic Engraving Pouch after a Hard mode clear.

  • Assault: Rimeria is divided into two types of content, each available in Normal and Hard difficulties from separate entrances:

    • 1–4 Player Event Dungeon: Assault: Crimson Abyss, Narhash

    • 8-Player Raid: Assault: Flame of Destruction, Tarkal

  • During the event, Shae, the main city in Rimeria, will be changed to visually reflect the ongoing events.

    • This change applies only to characters who have completed all Rimeria continent world quests.

  • Players can enter Assault: Rimeria via the "Assault Raid" object located in Shae or by using the "Assault Raid" button on the Kazeros War Board.

    • To challenge Assault: Rimeria, players must complete the Rimeria world quest "Ongoing Mission" and meet the item level requirements per difficulty.

  • A new Assault: Rimeria guide quest is available to characters with Item Level 1660+ that have completed the Rimeria continent quest.

1–4 Player Dungeon: Assault: Crimson Abyss, Narhash - One Gate

  • This is a standard dungeon that supports solo or party play.

    • Monster difficulty scales based on the number of party members.

    • Entry Item Level: Normal - over 1660, Hard - over 1700

  • This is a standard dungeon that supports solo or party play.

    • Monster difficulty scales based on the number of party members.

    • Players can earn rewards once per week per character.

    • This content is not classified as endgame content

    • Upon clear, players will earn Medals of Protection, which can be exchanged for various items in the event shop.

8-Player Raid: Assault: Flame of Destruction, Tarkal - One Gate

  • This content requires a full party of 8.

    • Entry Item Level: Normal - over 1680, Hard - over 1720

  • Entry Limit

    • One entry per week per character

    • Classified as Tier 4 Endgame Content, sharing entry and bonus reward limits with other endgame raids.

  • Clear Rewards

    • Tier 4 honing materials, Tier 4 Ancient-grade accessories and ability stones, Destiny Stone, Gold, Medals of Protection / Medals of Guardianship, and engravings (including Relic for Hard Mode).

    • A special initial clear reward chest is granted upon the first clear, regardless of difficulty.

    • After defeating Tarkal, the Dawn Defender's Chest will appear. (Same rarity is applied to all party members)

      • Chest rarity is random based on difficulty:

        • Normal: Epic to Relic

        • Hard: Legendary to Ancient

      • Only one player can open the chest; rewards (Guardian Embers and T4 Honing Materials) are distributed individually.

      • Material quantities are randomized per character within the min-max range of the chest’s grade.

      • If unopened, rewards are not granted. Be sure to open before leaving.

      • Guardian Ember only appear when Gold Rewards are selected, and always appear if selected.

      • Hard Mode clears guarantee a Random Relic Engraving Pouch from the chest.

      • One entry per week per character.

Assault: Rimeria Event Shop

  • The event shop is available via the "Event Shop" button on the minimap.

    • Exchange Medals of Guardianship or Medals of Protection from Assault: Rimeria for various items.

    • All items are roster-bound and untradeable.

    • Some items purchased with Medals of Guardianship have purchase limits.

  • The Guardian of Medal Shop offers the following rewards:

    • Relic Engraving Recipe Selection Pouch (Bound)

    • Bracelet Bonus Rework Ticket Chest

    • Leap Legendary Card Selection Pack II

    • Destiny Stone

    • Luminous Gem Shard Pouch

  • The Protection Medal Shop features the following rewards:

    • Guardian Medal

    • T4 Ancient Bracelet Chest

Combat Analyzer

The Combat Analyzer is a new system that tracks combat performance during boss fights across major content like raids and dungeons.

It automatically monitors your battle data and provides real-time feedback through a compact mode overlay. The system features four main tabs:

  1. Overview shows role-specific key metrics

  2. Attack Info displays skill damage breakdowns

  3. Support Info tracks healing/buffs

  4. Timeline provides detailed moment-by-moment analysis.

This should be a super helpful tool in allowing players to track their own performance and learn how to improve.

  • The Combat Analyzer be accessed via the in-game menu (ESC key) > “Guide” category or the “Guide” button in the lower-right corner of the screen.

    • It can also be opened using the shortcut [Alt] + [.]

  • The Combat Analyzer tracks damage dealt to boss-grade or higher monsters in the following content: Kazeros Raids, Epic Raids, Legion Raids, Abyss Dungeons, Abyss Raids, Guardian Raids, Trixion Training Grounds.

  • The Combat Analyzer automatically begins tracking at the start of battle and ends tracking at the end, saving data temporarily.

    • If you change your role by switching Ark Passive Nodes at a repair station during battle, tracking will stop.

  • Here are some examples of when the Combat Analyzer will start and stop:

    • Kazeros Raids, Epic Raids, Legion Raids, Abyss Dungeons, and Abyss Raids

      • When to start: After players enter the boss room.

      • When to stop: When the boss battle completely finishes.

    • Guardian Raids

      • When to start: Upon the first instance of damage to the guardian or when the guardian sees any player.

      • When to stop: When the boss battle completely finishes.

    • Trixion Training Grounds

      • When to start: After the test start button is pressed.

      • When to stop: After the test finish button is pressed or after testing for 20 minutes.

Tabs & Data

Overview

  • Displays key combat data based on your role (DPS or support).

  • The top section shows 4 core metrics relevant to your role.

    • Additional data is shown below and can be reordered via the “Change Order” button.

    • Total Damage and Total Support Contribution values are fixed and cannot be reordered.

Attack Info

  • Displays skill-by-skill damage contribution in bar graphs.

  • Bars are relative to the skill with the highest total damage, which is set at 100%.

  • The bar for the skill with the highest total damage is displayed at 100%. All other skill bars are scaled proportionally based on their percentage contribution relative to that top skill.

  • Skill order can be changed, except for Total Damage, which is fixed.

Support Info

  • Displays support skill contributions (healing, buffs) per skill.

  • The bar for the skill with the highest total damage is displayed at 100%, and all other skill bars are scaled proportionally based on their percentage contribution relative to that top skill.

    • Bar graphs are based on total support contribution.

    • Skill order can be adjusted except for the Total Support Contribution metric.

Time Line

  • Displays a time-based graph (X-axis in 10s, line graph in 5s intervals).

  • Hovering shows detailed data per moment.

  • Right-clicking a time slot shows skill usage order.

  • Tracks extra data like battle item use, resurrection time, counter attack success, etc.

Combat Analyzer Compact Mode

  • Starts in compact mode when entering content.

  • Exiting compact mode removes it from view but does not stop tracking.

  • In compact mode, the 4 core stats from “Overview” are shown in simplified form.

  • Players can compare real-time data against saved records (some items not supported).

  • If a record was previously selected, it is automatically reused for comparison in the same content later.

Combat Analyzer Record Management

Temporary Records

  • Active session tracking is stored temporarily.

  • Shown at the top of Recent Records.

  • If players fail the challenge, you can access the record in Manage Records.

  • If players start the boss fight again, old temporary data is overwritten.

  • If players succeed or fail and leave the dungeon, the current temporary record will automatically be saved to Recent Records.

Recent Records

  • When you clear or fail a challenge and leave the instance, the temporary record becomes a recent record.

  • Stores up to 10; oldest is removed when exceeded.

Saved Records

  • Manually saved from temporary or recent records.

  • Saved until manually deleted, up to 10 records max.

    • You cannot view the record list while real-time tracking is ongoing.

Record Comparison

  • You can compare records within the same content and phase.

  • Comparison is only available between same-role data.

  • Only line graph data from the Timeline tab is available for comparison.

  • Not available while real-time tracking is in progress.

Additional Updates Related to the Combat Analyzer

  • Trixion Training Grounds now supports Combat Analyzer tracking.

  • Data tracking only applies when fighting boss monsters or training dummies.

    • Only one boss dummy can be summoned now.

  • Old measurement mode still works the same.

  • Max timer duration for tracking reduced from 60 min to 20 min for better accuracy.

  • DPS measurement units and terminology have also been unified in the Trixion Training Grounds.

The Honor System

The Honor System allows players to recognize exceptional teammates by granting "Honor" to fellow party members who perform well or contribute positively during content.

This can be done through the character profile menu even after the party disbands. Received Honor will accumulate at the Roster level and increase your Honor Grade, which is displayed in your character info window. High Honor Grade players will gain recognition through the "Hall of Honor" feature on loading screens, showcasing top community members to other players when entering content — so be honorable out there!

  • Players can grant Honor to others who performed well or whom you’d like to thank for their contribution during content runs.

    • Players can also honor adventurers from other servers.

  • Honor can be granted through various methods:

    • Context menu on the target adventurer (hold Ctrl + right-click) via the option Grant Honor.

    • Click the Honor button at the bottom of the target adventurer’s character info window.

    • After clearing content you can also access the Grant Honor screen.

      • You cannot grant Honor to yourself or to other characters within your own roster.

      • Once granted, Honor cannot be canceled.

      • After content is cleared, the Honor button next to the MVP button will open the voting screen.

  • You can grant up to 3 Honors per character per week, and only once per roster to the same roster.

    • Weekly Honor limits reset every Wednesday at 06:00.

  • The Honor you receive from others is accumulated at the roster level.

  • Platers Honor Grade increases based on the accumulated Honor points.

  • Players can check your total received Honor and your current Honor Grade at the bottom of your character info window.

  • When entering party or raid content, characters with high Honor Grades may be displayed in the "Hall of Honor" section of the loading screen.

    • In 4-player content, up to 1 character will be shown.

    • In content with 8 or more players, up to 3 characters with the highest Honor Grades will be shown.

    • Characters whose Honor Grade is more than 3 tiers below the highest Honor Grade in the party will not be shown in the Hall of Honor.

Skin Crafting

  • New skin crafting recipes have been added for each class, including:

    • Kakul-Saydon, Lunatic Shiver Skin Brelshaza, Phantasmic Melody Skin Kayangel, Cradle of Light Skin Akkan, Breath of Death Skin Thaemine, Dominion of Darkness Skin Ivory Tower of Chaos, and Lofty Knowledge Skin.

  • Crafting recipes for the Valkyrie-exclusive skins have been added, following the same structure as existing classes.

New Dye Patterns

  • Four new dye patterns have been added: Leaf, Rope, Spotted, and Wave.

Achievement Changes

  • The target counts for the following achievements have been changed to align with the updated maximum quest completion limits from the August update Trash Collector:

    • Changed the completion requirement for the "Replacement Parts" quest on Golden Wave Island from 10 times to 7 Pirate Arena.

    • Changed the completion requirement for the "Hypnos's Arena" quest at Hypnos's Eyes from 10 times to once.

  • The objectives for the two achievements below have been changed so they can be completed even if you have surpassed the level range for Growth Missions:

    • Towards Endless Growth

    • One Step Forward

Lynnis Commemorative Coin Guide

  • A new guide on how to obtain the "Lynnis Commemorative Coin" item has been added.

Revelations Event

The Revelations Event will be live from September 17 until December 17. Throughout this event, players can earn coins through daily content and then exchange them for various items from the event shop. Players can also get special items from the separate Revelations Event UI. Here’s a list of rewards available in the event shop:

  • Apocalypse Fragment, [Event] T4 Ancient Accessory Random Chest, [Event] Transcendence Ruins Restoration Ticket: Weapon Chest, [Event] Transcendence Ruins Restoration Ticket: Armor Chest, [Event] Luminous Gem Shard Chest, [Event] Legendary Elixir Supplies Chest, Destiny Stone, Relic Engraving Recipe Random Pouch, Honing Shard Selection Chest III, Honing Leapstone Selection Chest VII, Honing Support Selection Chest II, Destiny Guardian Stone Pouch, and the Destiny Destruction Stone Pouch.

The Kurzan All-Out War event will run from September 17 through November 19. Work together with the global community in diverse daily activities to accumulate enough points for various rewards.

  • Players can help fill up each diamond on the Kurzan Warboard UI by completing specific daily content. Rewards will be distributed once a diamond is filled. Progress will reset daily. That means every week will cycle through the same 7 daily rewards.

Concluding Events

  • The Maharaka Festival Event has ended.

  • The Golden Frog Event has been extended for an additional month.

New Attendance Insignia

  • NA/EU version will have 1,000 and 1,500 days insignia added, in addition to 2,000 days version.

Brew Changes

The following two items can now be used directly within the entry UI for Chaos Dungeons and the Kurzan Front: Kurzan Front Aura of Resonance Recovery Brew and Kurzan Front Rest Bonus Recovery Brew.

  • The tooltip for your current inventory of Aura of Resonance/Rest Recovery Brew has been changed to display the expiration time in a more detailed manner:

    • A highlight effect will now be displayed on the + button in the entry UI and the Use button for the item in the recovery UI if you possess a brew with more than 1 hour but less than 1 day remaining until it expires.

    • Kurzan Front Aura of Resonance/Rest Recovery Brews will now be reflected in the owned quantity of the Recovery UI immediately upon acquisition.

    • Following the usability improvements for Kurzan Front Aura of Resonance/Rest Recovery Brews, the amount of Aura of Resonance/Rest Bonus recovered when using each brew has been standardized as follows:

      • Kurzan Front Aura of Resonance Recovery Brew: Recovers 100 Aura of Resonance.

      • Kurzan Front Rest Bonus Recovery Brew: Recovers 40 Rest Bonus.

      • With the usability enhancements for the Kurzan Front Aura of Resonance/Rest Recovery Brews, every brew your characters and Roster possess will be automatically reflected in the Recovery UI's total count according to their expiration time.

    • The icon for a brew will now be highlighted when its expiration time is imminent

Abyss Dungeon Ivory Tower of Chaos Trampled Garden (Solo Mode)

  • In Gate 3 of the Abyss Dungeon Ivory Tower of Chaos Trampled Garden (Solo Mode), the mechanic to stop "Lazaram, the Trailblazer" after destroying "Origin of Lazaram" has been changed to only require stopping the Lazaram positioned in the center.

Covetous Legion Commander Vykas Legion Raid (Solo Mode)

  • In Gate 2 of the Covetous Legion Commander Vykas Legion Raid (Solo Mode), during the pattern where you defeat the "Giant Covetous Lump" summoned by Vykas and then stagger her, failing the stagger check will now inflict great damage instead of causing instant death.

Demon Beast Commander Valtan Legion Raid (Solo Mode)

  • In Gate 2 of the Demon Beast Commander Valtan Legion Raid (Solo Mode), the time it takes for Valtan to track and slam a target from the air has been slightly increased.

System

  • When using the items below, which can be exchanged for "Una's Token (Old)" at the Gold Shop, their contents will now be acquired instantly instead of dropping on the ground.

    • Hefty Gold Sack

    • Small Safe

    • Large Gold Chest

  • When acquiring or using character-bound gold, the related notification message will now only be displayed in the chat window, the same as with tradeable gold.

  • Added "Skinsmithing" and "Reskin" options to the World Map under NPC Legend.

  • In the Crafting UI, the text notice for the crafting limit on applicable items will now always be displayed.

  • When whispering a guild member who has set their status to Offline and is currently playing on a different, non-guild character, an offline notification message will now be displayed.

  • When honing gear or upgrading gear quality, the material item tooltips have been improved to separately display the quantities of owned tradeable and bound versions.

  • Tier 4 Gem Tuning and Restoration is now possible upon reaching Item Level 1,640 or higher.

  • Added a feature that allows you to set the display priority for the icons of the support class buff effects listed below Party Attack Power Bonus buff effect icon Party Damage Bonus buff icon Party Damage Bonus buff effect from Hyper Awakening Technique icon.

  • Added a feature that allows character-created objects to be used with the second interaction key [H] Character Prop Interaction and regular interaction can now be used independently.

  • Added an item search function to the Inventory You can search for items stored in your Inventory and Storage through the integrated search window by clicking the "Magnifying Glass" button in the upper right corner of the Inventory The location where the searched item is stored will be included in the search information Items searched for in the integrated search window can be moved to your Inventory using the "Get Item" button.

  • The text "Damage Reduction" will now be displayed when striking certain monsters while they are in a damage reduction state.

  • The Roster XP displayed as an achievement completion reward in the Achievement UI will now be shown as the actual amount you will receive based on your current Roster Level.

  • Even when your held gold is less than the amount requested in an invoice mail, the comma separator for thousands will now be applied in the "Amount to send" field within the mail UI.

  • When interacting with content or systems where character-bound gold cannot be used, a notice has been added to the tooltip that appears when mousing over your held currency.

  • Added a notification message that is displayed when a character attempts to craft an item while in combat or dead.

  • "Ink Marble" and "Whimsical Marble" created by an Artist will now display an outline when obstructed by objects, similar to "Sun Marbles".

  • Ink Marbles created by the Artist's Paint: Combat Technique passive effect are now removed when the passive's level is changed or it is deactivated.

  • Stacking Ink Energy buff from the Artist's Paint: Combat Technique passive effect is now removed when the passive is deactivated.

  • Improved an issue so that the character can move immediately after skipping a quest scene with "Shift + G" during certain quests.

  • Changed the "Recommended" tab in the Content List > Content Guide UI to no longer display Abyss Raids.

  • Changed Abyss Raids to no longer be displayed at the top of the list when the Content List > Main Content / Content Guide UI is applied.

  • Added a feature to the Skin Codex that allows you to preview dyes on skins that are not registered in the catalog or are being worn by another character on your Roster.

  • The MVP contribution for the "Supporter" category will now only be calculated from combat data against boss or higher monsters.

  • Added two new priority options to the "Set Buff Icon Display Priority" section in Settings Very High, Very Low.

UI/UX

Chat Macros

  • Chat macros assigned to a Specialty skill will no longer be displayed when pressing a key to end the skill for some classes.

  • Chat macros no longer function when using the Specialty-related skills mentioned below:

    • Berserker: Bloody Rush, Dark Rush Destroyer: Vortex Gravity, Hypergravity Mode deactivation

    • Gunlancer: Remove Defensive Stance, Remove Battlefield Shield

    • Slayer: Bloodlust

    • Scrapper: Earth Rend

    • Soulfist: Remove Hype

    • Breaker: Brawl King Twelve Forms: Falling Blossoms, Brawl King Twelve Forms: Violent Waves

    • Sharpshooter: Summon Silverhawk

Character Profile Window

  • Under Character Profile Window > Details > "Activity" tab, new information for "Ally Damage Enhancement Increase" has been added

Engravings and Elixir Effect

  • The effect gained at maximum stacks for the Engravings and Elixir effect below will no longer be provided as a new, separate buff. Instead, it will be applied to the existing buff when it reaches max stacks for Engraving Adrenaline Engraving, Magick Stream, or Elixir Effect Luminary.

Passionate Dance Passive

  • Changed the Passionate Dance passive to be marked as a stacking buff when the Simultaneous Buff Stack option is enabled.

Individually displayed buffs

  • The following buffs will now be displayed individually and will not be consolidated, even when Simultaneous Buff Stack is enabled:

    • The Heavenly Blessings buff granted when the "Persistence" Skill Tree is applied to the Paladin's "Heavenly Blessings" skill.

    • The Attack Speed and MP Recovery Speed Increase buff granted when a Bard uses the Heavenly Tune skill while the True Courage passive is active.

    • The Damage Reduction buff granted when an Artist uses the Sunsketch skill while the Recurrence passive is active.
