Heroes of Arkesia,

We wanted to check in with a few updates as we head deeper into the post-Kazeros era and look ahead to what's coming for Lost Ark.

We know there have been questions from the community recently, so we wanted to be upfront. Lost Ark's story is far from over. With the Primordial Beings now emerging and the next chapter of Arkesia taking shape, there is a lot of content on the horizon that we're actively working to bring to the West. We're committed to continuing to deliver meaningful updates, and we want to share what we can today.

SERCA BY THE NUMBERS

We've been digging into the Shadow Raid data from the first two weeks. Here are some stats:

  • Normal mode: ~71% of clears across both gates were flawless. Zero deaths.

  • Hard mode: 31% flawless on Gate 1, 14% flawless on Gate 2.

  • Corvus Tul Rak (Gate 2) accounts for 52% of all deaths. Gate 1 makes up the other 48%.

  • Hard mode is where most players fall on Gate 1, but on Gate 2, Nightmare difficulty has the highest death volume.

  • Guardianknight leads in total clears among all classes.

  • Breaker has the lowest average deaths per clear.

PREPARING FOR HORIZON CATHEDRAL

With the May update, new cards will be added to the Wandering Merchant rotation. These additions are specifically designed to help players complete the Spear Master Card Set, Kazeros's Legion Commanders Card Set, and the new Path of the Faithful Card Set (name may change), which will be important for the Horizon Cathedral Abyssal Raid arriving in June alongside the new Cadarum Isles region.

If you've been working toward completing these sets, keep an eye on the Wandering Merchants across Arkesia as the cards you collect now will give you a meaningful advantage when the gates of Horizon Cathedral open. When the June update arrives, Horizon Cathedral will open one week after launch to give players time to explore the Cadarum Isles and experience the story before diving into the raid.

SNOWFLAKE ARGOS

Also arriving with the May update is the Snowflake Argos event, a frost-themed reimagining of the classic Argos encounter on the Valtan zero platform. This standalone event will run from May 13 through July 15 with rewards across multiple item level brackets. We'll have the full breakdown of rewards in the release notes closer to launch.

SERVER MERGE UPDATE

We previously shared that we were planning a wave of server merges in May. After further evaluation, we've decided to delay the server merge to ensure we have more time to prepare and communicate the full details of the process. We want to make sure this goes smoothly for everyone, and rushing it wouldn't serve that goal.

We'll share the updated timeline and full merge policy as soon as we have it locked in.

LOOKING AHEAD

We've seen reports of players experiencing disconnects and being randomly booted from raids. We recently applied a fix that should reduce matchmaking issues and unexpected disconnects. We're continuing to monitor and will share updates if needed.

We're actively working on the Q3 roadmap. While we can't share the full details just yet, we can tell you that the second half of 2026 has a strong lineup of content planned for Arkesia. We are looking forward to revealing what's next.

In the near term, the June update is shaping up nicely, with a new region, a new raid, progression events, and more. While we would love to break it down now, we'll save it for one of our future articles and go into deeper detail as we get closer.

We appreciate your patience, and while we may not always respond directly on social or Discord, we are reading what the community is discussing. We are focused on delivering updates that reflect what matters most to the community. The best way we can show our commitment is through the content itself, and trust us, there's more on the way.

We'll see you in Arkesia!
